about
This song has a few themes that I was playing with when I wrote it. It has a theme about missing someone, but also a them of not being able to handle being around someone. So, I guess it's about a love/hate relationship.
lyrics
Our story in forty words
the one line you haven't heard
makes all the sense in the world
puts the pain in your girly curls
it's a virus, it's a disease
syndrome, it's adhd
it's the sugar that makes it sweet
so pure it sets us free
gmos killing all the bees
cars driving up and down the street
it's your fault if you don't agree
have fun filling all your needs
tic toc did you miss out?
on things that give you doubt
keep time in a place
wake minds who want to taste
can't be here when you're home
can't be there when you're alone
can't make it while you're away
can't do it either way
If you're honest, you've been told
can't make it if you're out of control
not focused on any one thing
all I can do is sit here and sing
If you're honest, you've been exposed
to more sh#t than you'd ever know
and they show up while you're asleep
and you dream of vitamin b
